1969 Chevrolet Nova - SOLD!!!
The Chevy Nova has become more popular than ever, here we have a fine example of pure Nova muscle. This car has a great body with very nice paint. The burgandy Base/Clear finish is very nice with no rust bubbles in or around the usual places in the fenders, rockers and quarter panels. The undercarraige of the car is very solid also. The Vinyl top is also very nice with no bubbles under it. The powerplant is a mid-seventies 454 (casting # 3999289 with a TRL suffix code) The 454 features a large camshaft with a nice lope to it. (not sure of cam specs) A Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake was chosen along with Mallory ignition, Hooker coated headers, roller rockers, Pete Jackson Gear drive, Taylor wires, a large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, billet overflow and an aluminum vaccum canister. A Mighty Demon 750 CFM carb was used along with a Moroso phenolic spacer for air/fuel delivery. Needless to say this car is very quick... it revs fast and has lots of power. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed mated to a Hurst shifter. The rear axle is a GM 12 Bolt with 3:55 gearing and a posi unit. Making power like this car does some chassis and brake modifications were a must. First for saftey the car was fitted with Power 4 wheel disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors. The polished master cylinder and brake booster give the engine bay a little more flair. The frame was tied together using frame connectors and sway bars were added front and rear along with Edelbrock shocks. The wheel and tire combo give the car the classic hot rod look with Americcan racing Torque Thrust D wheels wrapped in BFGs. The car also has power steering to help navigate easily. On the inside a stock bench seat interior is very nice with no damage with the exception of a small crack in the top drivers corner of the dash pad. Auto Meter Phantom gauges were installed in a custom carbon fiber dash panel to keep tabs on the big block. The builder chose to put a really nice stereo system in the car also, Blaupunkt components were used front to rear. (head unit, amp, woofer and speakers) A trunk mounted red top Optima battery was installed to run the electronics and crank the big block. This one is a true muscle car Dont Miss It!
