Second generation Camaros are more popular than ever, the later cars were much more drivable and were available with many more options to make the driving experiance much better. This is a fine example of one of those cars. This 1981 Z/28 is a great find..owned by two families over the years and very well kept. The car is a 81,000 mile car and drives like it! I pulled an Autocheck on the car to verify the miles and its clean with no wrecks and shows mileage correct. At some point the car was refinished in its factory original white and restriped as the car came when new. The exterior shows no signs of rust or damage. The paint is very nice all over with only a small amount of paint cracking on the nose from just being flexable. (very common) The striping is also very eye catching with its bold colors and still in great condition. The engine is the cars original with matching numbers on the pad. The engine suffix is DMA translating into 350 CID backed by an automatic transmission. The engine is all stock and runs great with no leaking of running issues. The automatic transmission shifts as it shoud and the car travels well at highway speeds. On the inside the blue vinyl interior is original to the car and super nice with no damage. The car is optioned with power steering, power disc brakes, A/C, cruise control (not working),tilt column and an AM/FM stereo. The A/C is super cold and works well. The car has its original glass all the way around and its still very nice. The wheels are originals as well as the spare tire and jack in the trunk. The wetherstriping is also original and in great condition on the car. The exhaust has been replaced with a system that retains a catalytic converter.
